Welcome to TLC Dental Care – Where Your Health Comes First
Welcome! I’m Dr. Terrie Cribbs, and I couldn’t be happier that you’re here. Originally from Florida, I spent years moving around the eastern half of the United States with my husband’s career. When we finally came to Knoxville, we knew we had found the place we wanted to call home. This is where we put down roots and built the practice that has become my heart’s work.
My journey into dentistry began as a Registered Dental Hygienist, which gave me a front-row seat to how prevention can change a patient’s life. I eventually followed my dream of becoming a dentist and earned my degree at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis. Coming back to Knoxville to open TLC Dental Care felt like coming home in every way.
Healthy gums and prevention remain a cornerstone of my philosophy today. I’m proud to offer gentle, non-surgical gum infection therapy to keep my patients not just dentally healthy, but systemically healthier too.
One of my biggest passions is airway health—helping children and adults breathe, sleep, and live better. Many children with airway issues struggle in school, have difficulty focusing, and may experience symptoms that mimic ADHD or make true ADHD even worse because of how profoundly lack of sleep impacts a child’s brain. Treating those airway issues can completely change a child’s life—helping them sleep soundly, focus better, and thrive in school.
Adults benefit just as much. We offer comfortable solutions for snoring and sleep apnea that restore restful sleep, boost energy, and improve overall quality of life.
I am equally passionate about oral cancer screenings. Using advanced blue-light technology, we can detect changes before they become visible—screenings that have truly been life-saving for patients right here in Knoxville.
Our office also embraces digital dentistry, allowing us to offer more precise, comfortable, and efficient treatment. And if you’ve ever wanted a straighter smile, our clear aligners make it possible for teens and adults to get beautiful results without brackets or wires.
Most of all, I want you to feel welcome and cared for every time you visit us. I love getting to know my patients, hearing their stories, and partnering with them to create healthier smiles and healthier lives.
When I’m not in the office, you’ll probably find me quilting, painting, working in the yard with my husband, or hiking in one of our nearby national parks. Knoxville is home, and it’s my privilege to care for the people who make this community so special.
My team and I are excited to welcome you to TLC Dental Care and make you feel right at home.

For more than three decades, Barb has dedicated her career to helping people feel cared for, understood, and at ease when visiting the dentist. What began as a front desk role in a small Ohio dental office over 30 years ago sparked her lifelong passion for connecting with people and making dental care a comfortable experience. Over the years, she’s worn many hats—from assisting chairside to helping patients navigate their insurance—and each step has deepened her compassion and expertise.
Today, as TLC Dental Care’s Patient Care Coordinator, Barb is the friendly, reassuring face who welcomes patients the moment they arrive. She takes the time to listen, guide, and explain—helping patients make sense of their dental benefits and find ways to fit their care into their lives comfortably. For those who feel nervous about dentistry, Barb’s warmth and empathy have a way of turning anxiety into calm confidence. Her goal is simple but powerful: to ensure every patient leaves with a smile and a sense that they were genuinely cared for.
Barb earned her Dental Assisting Certification from Rhoades State in Lima, Ohio. Originally from Marion, Ohio and Niagara Falls, New York, she brings both Midwestern friendliness and a bit of that Niagara charm to every interaction. She’s been part of the TLC Dental Care family for two years and treasures working with what she calls “an amazing group of ladies” who inspire her daily.
Outside the office, Barb loves treasure hunting, traveling to new places, and spending time with her large, blended family—seven children, three grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter—along with her two Yorkies and two Siamese cats who complete her joyful home.
Barb looks forward to welcoming you to TLC Dental Care and making sure your experience is every bit as comfortable, positive, and personal as it should be.

Wendy discovered her passion for dentistry long before she ever put on scrubs. As a teenager with braces, she experienced firsthand how a healthy smile could completely transform a person’s confidence. But what stood out to her most were the dental assistants who guided her through the process with patience, kindness, and reassurance. Their impact stayed with her—and ultimately inspired her to pursue a career where she could do the same for others.
She went on to earn her Dental Assisting Certification from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Knoxville and later completed her Associate of Applied Science in Business Management at Roane State Community College. A Knoxville native, Wendy has been part of the TLC Dental Care family for an incredible 17 years, building longstanding relationships with patients and becoming a trusted, comforting presence in the office.
Wendy loves working with TLC Dental Care’s advanced technology and enjoys the privilege of catching up with patients she’s known for years. Her calm, friendly approach helps even the most anxious patients feel relaxed, supported, and genuinely cared for throughout their visit.
Outside the office, Wendy enjoys spending time with her 15-year-old son, Cooper, taking fun trips to Buc-ee’s, and relaxing at home with her cat, Dolly.
Wendy looks forward to meeting you, helping you feel at ease, and making your dental experience smooth and comfortable from start to finish.

Growing up in rural East Tennessee, Becky saw firsthand how fear, financial challenges, and limited access to dental care can impact a person’s health and confidence. Those early experiences shaped her commitment to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where every patient feels seen, supported, and cared for. She takes the time to listen, educate, and empower—because she believes people deserve to understand their options and feel confident taking charge of their oral health.
Becky began her dental career as an assistant before continuing her education and earning her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Tennessee Wesleyan University. Her clinical skill, paired with her gentle approach, helps patients of all ages feel at ease in the chair. She was drawn to TLC Dental Care’s welcoming environment and is proud to be part of a team that shares her commitment to kindness, communication, and exceptional patient care.
Her favorite part of working at TLC Dental Care is building trust with patients—especially those who may feel anxious or have had difficult experiences in the past. Whether she’s caring for children, adults, or seniors, Becky tailors her approach to meet each patient exactly where they are, fostering comfort, clarity, and confidence at every visit.
When she’s not in the office, Becky enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with her dog, Lenny, and catching an occasional concert.
Becky looks forward to welcoming you, supporting your health goals, and helping you feel comfortable and confident at every visit.
