I am thrilled to have created and nurtured a wonderful dental practice filled with so many members of our Knoxville community. Originally from Florida, I moved around the eastern half of the United States as my husband’s job took us from place to place. But when we came to Knoxville, we knew this is where we wanted to stay. So while my husband fulfilled his dream of creating his own business, I decided to continue mine and attended The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis TN. After graduating I came back home to Knoxville and started my practice.

My interest in dentistry began with my early exposure to science and healthcare. My dad is a dentist and my mom was a lab technician. Growing up, I loved spending time with my parents while they were working. Whenever I had the opportunity to watch either of my parents at work, I was fascinated! Sharing this time with them ignited a fire and a passion in me for science and it’s still a focus of mine today. Through my parents I saw the intrigue of biological puzzles and the rewards of hands-on patient care. My parents instilled in me both the desire to continually learn, and the responsibility, as a doctor, to stay current on the latest research, technology, and techniques in both medical and dental sciences. I am always looking for ways to apply this information to the way that I practice dentistry. This allows me to best serve the patients who have entrusted me with their care.

My philosophy on oral health care is based on my unwavering passion towards providing exceptional dental care to each of my patients, with a focus on preventive dental care and overall health. I believe that as dentists, we have a responsibility to educate and inspire our patients to enhance pristine oral health and their total body wellness.

Building trusting relationships with my patients is of the highest importance to me and the part of dentistry I enjoy the most. I truly enjoy using my positive energy and deep resolve to serve the oral health needs of the Knoxville community!

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy art and craft projects of all kinds. Quilting, flower arranging, acrylic painting and graphic design are all hobbies of mine. I enjoy the outdoors with my husband as we work in the yard, tend our small garden and occasionally hike the nearby national parks. I also try to spend as much time with my extended family as possible.

I look forward to working with all of you!
